Interview with Uldis from PT.Cash

We had a chat with Uldis from PT.Cash, the mastermind behind pervert.chat! 🔥👀 As always, it was an absolute pleasure to spend quality time with one of the top guys in the adult industry!

Professional Questions (Platform, Business Model, and Vision)

What inspired you to create a pure text-based fetish chat platform in an era dominated by video and images?

Initially, I launched this platform as a streaming site two years ago. However, I quickly realized that the costs associated with servers and infrastructure were overwhelming. Despite launching the platform, I found myself running out of money and had to reassess my approach. In my search for alternative models, I came across OnlyFans and began studying how agencies were managing their models. To my surprise, I discovered that 80-90% of their earnings came from chatting rather than subscriptions or video sales.

Since I had already purchased the domain Pervert.Chat, I saw an opportunity rather than a failure. Instead of quitting, I pivoted and decided to focus entirely on a text-based chatting and sexting platform. This approach was not only more cost-effective but also aligned perfectly with the domain I had—where the extension is .CHAT. It felt like a sign that this was the right direction. Studying OnlyFans further reinforced my belief that a text-based platform could be both viable and successful.

How does Pervert.Chat differentiate itself from other adult platforms, especially those relying on multimedia content?

Unlike mainstream adult platforms that focus on video and images, Pervert.Chat is a text-based platform specifically for fetish enthusiasts. It’s not just about generic adult content—it’s a space for people to explore their specific interests through conversation, which makes it fundamentally different from traditional adult sites.

What advantages do you see in a text-only format for adult interactions? Is it about privacy, imagination, or something else?

One major advantage is accessibility—you can chat anytime, anywhere. Unlike video content or live streams, which require privacy and a dedicated space, text-based interactions can happen discreetly, even in public settings. Another key benefit is imagination. With so much visual content available today, I believe people are losing their ability to create anticipation and excitement in their minds. Text-based interaction fosters creativity and builds tension, making the experience more immersive than simply watching a video.

Were there any doubts or challenges in launching a product that goes against the mainstream trend of visual content?

While every business faces challenges, I never doubted the concept itself. I knew from my previous experience as a webmaster, running fetish-focused tube sites, that there was strong and growing demand for niche content. Over the years, I had seen my traffic increase significantly, which reassured me that this platform would work.

What kind of audience is Pervert.Chat attracting, and how has the response been so far?

The majority of our users are men, with around 95% falling into this demographic. However, we also have female users who are interested in engaging in fetish discussions. Since the platform is relatively new, we are seeing steady registrations, and as users explore and understand how it works, we expect engagement to grow. Our marketing strategy includes targeted advertising and other promotional efforts to increase visibility within the industry.

Do you think there is a growing demand for ‘low-tech’ or more private digital interactions in the adult industry?

Absolutely. People crave real human interaction, not just passive consumption of content. Even on live streaming platforms, viewers engage in chat discussions rather than just watching. Look at YouTube or Twitch—people participate in chat rooms during streams, sometimes more than watching the actual content. This need for interaction will only grow, especially as AI continues to change how we engage online.

How do you ensure user safety and moderation in a platform built around anonymity?

Currently, users can register easily by confirming they are 18+, but we are working with several ID verification companies to implement a stricter age verification system. For models, full ID verification is mandatory, including photo identification. Additionally, models have the ability to block users or even entire countries if they choose. We also moderate chats to prevent harassment, racism, and bullying. Any users violating these guidelines will be removed.

What are the biggest misconceptions about text-based adult chat platforms?

The biggest misconception is that AI will take over and replace human interactions. While AI chatbots exist, they cannot replicate real human connection. People might experiment with AI chat partners, but ultimately, they seek genuine human interaction. This is a fundamental human need that AI cannot truly satisfy.

Does AI play a role in Pervert.Chat, whether in moderation, content generation, or user experience?

No, we do not use AI for moderation or content generation. Our focus is entirely on real human interaction.

What was the hardest part of developing and launching this platform?

The biggest challenge was integrating a payment system. Finding an acquiring bank willing to process payments for a niche adult platform was difficult due to strict regulations. Surprisingly, onboarding models was much easier than expected—many were eager to join and start earning immediately. The real challenge now is increasing our visibility and building brand awareness.

How do you handle legal and ethical challenges in running an anonymous fetish chat site?

We have strict terms and conditions as well as a privacy policy that all users must follow. Any violations result in account removal.

In a world of OnlyFans and VR porn, what do you think is the future of text-based adult content?

OnlyFans does not allow deep fetish content, which gives *Pervert.Chat* a unique position in the market. There is strong demand for niche fetish interaction, and we are filling that gap.

What kind of user behavior trends have you noticed since launching Pervert.Chat?

Users tend to be highly specific in their interests. Fetish is a broad term, but most users focus on one very particular kink and are not interested in others. This confirms our belief that providing a space where users can find like-minded partners is key.

Are there any plans to monetize Pervert.Chat, or is the focus more on community building?

We are already monetizing through a token system. Users purchase tokens to pay for messages, videos, and images, as well as to tip models. We take a percentage of these transactions.

What are your long-term goals for the platform? Do you see it evolving, or will it always stay true to the text-only experience?

Our long-term goal is to become the leading text-based fetish chat platform. In the short term, we have milestones for user growth, model recruitment, and platform improvements to enhance the user experience.

Personal Questions (Philosophy, Challenges, and Vision)

Uldis What draws you personally to text-based communication in the adult space?

Privacy. Many people with fetish interests prefer discretion, and text-based interactions allow them to engage without exposing their identity.

Did you face any criticism or skepticism when starting this project? How did you handle it?

Of course. Every new venture faces skepticism. The key is staying focused on your vision and not letting criticism derail your progress.

How do you see the role of anonymity in the digital age, especially in adult communities?

Anonymity is increasingly difficult in today’s digital landscape, but as long as people aren’t engaging in anything illegal, they should be able to explore their interests freely.

What has been the most surprising reaction from users or industry professionals regarding Pervert.Chat?

At a conference in Bucharest, someone approached me just because the name *Pervert.Chat* intrigued them. They even registered on the spot just to see what it was about. That was a pleasant surprise as they were from totally different business vertical.

What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned from launching this platform?

Patience. Nothing happens overnight.

What’s the best piece of business advice you’ve ever received?

Simple: *Don’t quit.*

What do you hope people feel when they use your platform?

Freedom. A place where they can express their fantasies without judgment.
